The Warrington Country Club is in the process of adding a brand new foyer that will impress you and your guests. The grand foyer will feature a portico that will be perfect for your guests to pull up to when entering the premises. The Greek columns and the sheer size of the portico will offer great curb appeal for the facility, and will add a “wow” factor for our clients arriving on the grounds. The new project will also be glass-encased, allowing anyone passing by to view the foyer’s contemporary interior design.
But as 2014 draws to a close this December 31st, we hope you’ll have the chance to get to know a slightly different side of the County Club.

Spring is here and a season of new events has begun for the Warrington Country Club. We are kicking things off with the “Perfect Match” wedding event. Then we will help you treat your mother to the brunch of her dreams with our annual Mother’s Day Brunch. We will also profile our phenomenal executive chef, John Smola.
Finding the Perfect Match
The Perfect Match wedding event will be hosted at the Warrington Country Club on Tuesday, May 27. Perfect Match is an opportunity for local couples to win gifts and services for their upcoming nuptials. The event will also feature local wedding vendors, many of whom are donating gifts of their services to one lucky couple. Couples can sign up online to attend as members of the audience. Six couples (in each round) will be randomly selected from the audience to compete for the Perfect Match grand prize. These 12 couples will compete across a series of 2 rounds, along with a final bonus round. The ultimate goal is to be the couple that knows the most about one another. Everyone will get into the fun as couples find out how much they really know about each other. The couple with the most points wins the grand prize. Photos and essays of couples who entered the contest are displayed on Phillyburbs.com. Votes for favorite couples were accepted until April 28th. The top six couples will compete to win the wedding of their dreams, with a value worth over $12,000 from the Warrington Country Club, The Intelligencer and all of the Perfect Match Bridal Giveaway participating sponsors. The couples will be asked multiple questions about their significant other and the couple that knows each other the best will win the grand prize!

- Use a blank book for guests to offer the new graduate advice for college or post-college life.
- Create a photo book of the graduate from over the years and have the guests sign it (especially on the pages where they are also in the picture).
- Frame a picture of the graduate from graduation day and use a white matte frame around it so guests can write their congratulations.

Nationally acclaimed author Lisa See will share her insights with luncheon attendees at the Warrington Country Club on April 10.
Author Lisa See will be featured at the annual Author Luncheon to be held Saturday, April 10, 2010, at the Warrington Country Club. Lisa See’s most well recognized literary work to date is Snowflower and the Secret Fan which topped best seller lists for weeks and was the topic of discussion by countless book clubs. Fans of Lisa See will be intrigued to hear her talk about her Chinese heritage and its influence on her literary and cultural accomplishments at the popular wedding reception site in Bucks County.
Tickets for the luncheon and author presentation are $35. They are currently on sale at the Doylestown Library for members of the Friends of the Library Center, Doylestown, and will be available to the general public on Monday, March 15. Sale hours are 11:00-1:00 and 6:00-8:00 Monday through Thursday, 11:00-1:00 on Fridays, and 9:00-12:00 on Saturdays until all tickets have been sold.
Luncheon entrees at the Warrington Country Club include chicken with cranberry stuffing, salmon with dill sauce, and a vegetarian platter. Lisa See will be signing her books both before and after her presentation, and her books will be available for purchase courtesy of the Doylestown Bookstore. The doors to the country club will open at 11:15 and luncheon will be served at 12:00.
