The style of a wedding is very much suited to the couple, but there are always trends that come and go in the wedding industry. Take a look at what’s in style for the 2010 wedding season.
1. Classic
Although this trend has been in for a few years now, it shows no sign of stopping. Lace gowns, antique hair slides or brooches, bird-cage veils, vintage crockery – all are becoming more popular for adding a classic touch to weddings. In addition vintage, shorter dresses are also becoming more popular.
2. Color
No longer is the bride limited to white, cream and ivory. Splashes of color really liven up a wedding, whether they are bright bridesmaid dresses, a colorful underskirt in a bride’s dress, a shocking tie or even a pair of blue shoes for luck.
3. Mini bites
Gone are the days of the multi-tier cake. Now, couples are opting for a simple two-layer cake which can be served as dessert. Also very popular is the option of one small top cake with layers of individual cupcakes which can also double up as favors for the guests.
4. Fun
Couples looking to create a less formal atmosphere at their wedding are incorporating more and more fun factors into the day to create a party atmosphere.
5. Custom-Made Features
There are many inexpensive, fun and creative options to really personalize your wedding.
Invitation materials and tools are available from craft stores, so you can make them as formal, or as informal, as you like. Whether you want a fold-out invitation with directions to the venue, RSVP and guest list included or a simple postcard with a photo of you and your partner, it’s up to you.

How about a Butter Cream Frosted Chocolate Wedding Cake? Chocolate cake is not just for the groom any longer.
Another new flavor fashion trend is the Wedding Candy Buffet. This new style is turning into a tradition. You can’t beat the smell of chocolate when it is pleasingly presented as a fun activity for hungry guests. Candy buffets can range from chocolates in colors to match the wedding to whimsical for the young bride and can be presented as hors d’oeuvres or the take home favor that won’t be tossed aside.

Brides who had their Bucks County Wedding the week of March 19 ended up having a summer wedding.
The sap is running and that motivates, Ron, our gardener extraordinaire, to make sure our brides see Spring busting out all over. He planted over 400 pansies in our outdoor ceremony/cocktail garden. He’s also raving about the magnificent daffodils already in bloom thanks to all the bulbs he planted in the fall. He says the tulips will be open in the next few weeks.
Ron’s artistry provides a feast for the senses. What is amazing is his ability to adapt to the changing seasons
and transform the uniqueness of the garden with each season. The photo ops are amazing for you and your photographers.
Heck, you can easily find a good excuse for having a cocktail garden party!

Warrington Country Club’s First Entry into the Bucks Beautiful Summer Competition for Business Gardens Yields 3rd Place Award.
Warrington Country Club has been awarded 3rd place in the Bucks Beautiful Garden Competition in the Business Gardens Category. This was the first time
Warrington Country Club entered the competition and was very pleased with the results.
The Bucks Beautiful Award is part of an initiative to encourage the ‘Greening of Bucks County’. The gardens are judged by a group of regional experts, established gardeners or professionals. The gardens are visited by a team of judges giving their opinions both on a numerical criteria as well as written comments to provide helpful suggestions. The gardens are then judged based on design, installation and maintenance.
Warrington Country Club’s gardens are the personal passion of Ron Zeamba, a Master Gardener trained at Penn State University. The gardens consisted of 1,500 pansies, 100 daffodils and hyacinths, 2,000 summer annuals and 50 perennials. Ron is hoping for 1st place in the summer of 2010 competition.
With the inclusion of the beautiful gardens, Warrington Country Club offers Outdoor Wedding Ceremonies and Cocktail Parties
