2012 is All About You…All about things reflecting you:
- White weddings are always in – they are stylish and classic. All white & neutral weddings with a clean & crisp feel to them. Even the bridesmaids are being draped in white! Complete with accents of crystal, platinum or silver.
- Black & White rarely goes ‘out’ – but it is time to return to Vintage circa 1930′s Glamor.
- Less strapless, more straps & sleeves – Classic elegance will be a major theme. Brides will be drawn to gowns that have more coverage and embody vintage inspired glamor.
- Pretty in pink is another theme of 2012. Pink, peonies, pearls – the prettier the better!

- Flowers like carnations & babies breath are making a come back.
- Tangerine Tango – Bold, but a great accent for a ‘pop’ of color.
- Personality is a big theme – all brides want their special day to stand out and be different so they are really pushing the envelope with their table decor.
- Desserts are Bigger – Wedding cakes will always remain a ‘staple’ – but there are other desserts like cupcake, cookie and candy ‘bars’ that will continue to be highlighted
- Photo Booths – looks like they are here to stay – and why not, the guests love having them.

- Color Trends:

Taken from the fashion runway, here are the colors we see trending for 2012:
Turquoise, Coral, Black & White, Yellow, Fuchsia, Deep Red, Slate Grey, Purple & Latte.
- Wedding Themes:
All out themes – not just the color scheme. Vintage glamor, Winter Wonderland, Beach and Garden, Ethnic influenced Celebrations.
- Accents:
Taken from fashion, incorporating feathers, fabrics and metals into the wedding decor. Jeweled accents never go out of style.
- Personalization:
Professionally created personal touches such as monograms well displayed from the invitations to the wedding cake and dance floor lighting.
- Dessert Tables:This is a huge trend for 2012. We’re seeing the return of the Grooms Cake or surprise him with his favorite dessert. Small desserts continue to be popular: dessert shots, mini cobblers, truffles, and ethnic faves such as canollis. Couples want to reflect their heritage more than ever and offer guests a taste of that culture.
- Stations:
Setting up stations around the room allows for traffic control and eliminates the long wait holding a plate. They are making a permanent home as wedding reception dining options and are much more interesting than a standard buffet.
Warrington Country Club located in Bucks County also serves the surrounding areas of Montgomery County and Philadelphia.
We schedule appointments 7 days a week. Call 215-343-1630 or visit our website to request more information on your Bucks County Wedding.
Turquoise, Coral, Black & White, Yellow, Fuchsia, Deep Red, Slate Grey, Purple & Latte.

Being a winter bride means being able to enjoy the gorgeous backdrop of white snow and the excitement of winter activities.

- The Wedding Dress – with long gloves will be reminiscent of the fairy tale wedding in your winter wonderland theme.
- The Details - of a winter wedding are infinite by making use of snowflakes, icicles, bells and crystal accents to decorate the venue.
- The Wedding Cake – made of a tower of cupcakes decorated in blue and silver with white icing is a trend for winter weddings.
- Flowers – are traditional roses or calla lilies for a winter wedding. However, fuller flowers are trending by adding bells and crystals making the blooms even more stunning.

Hi Linda! Oh boy it has been a rough week. Andrew and I brought a stomach bug back from our honeymoon in the Dominican Republic and have both been very sick for over a week! I am finally starting to feel slightly better but I still feel very drained.
I wanted to thank you for the countless ways you and your team helped us have the best wedding ever!! It was completely beyond our expectations and every detail came together perfectly. Pat did a great job taking care of us all day. She was so nice and she really made sure everything was perfect. Amy took great care of us too, what a sweetheart! The service and food were terrific. Our guests raved about the delicious food that just seemed to keep coming! We were disappointed that we missed cocktail hour during our formal portraits since we heard such great things about the appetizers, so now we need to convince some friends to get married there so we can get to be invited guests there was no shortage of food for us though, and we really enjoyed everything we ate. Once we hour settled into the reception my nerves were getting to me a little so I didn’t think I should eat too much, but once I got out on the dance floor I started feeling better. Amy wrapped my food for me and I ended up eating it 2 days later… Still so good!
I really can’t thank you enough for all that you personally did for us. You were so wonderful to work with, you really made the planning process so enjoyable. I wish you could have stayed and danced the night away with us! I will get you some pictures once we have them from the photographer, and there should be some video too. Thank you, thank you, thank you for being so good to us, and for helping make our day even more special than we could have ever imagined! I can’t say it enough… You guys are amazing!!
Oh and I almost forgot – thanks for getting my shoes back to me too just another reason why Linda and Warrington are THE BEST!!!
Lots of love,
~Abbe and Andrew Abrams

We love sharing these stories!
Linda, I just had to tell you how much we appreciated the wonderful job you and your staff did for MR and MRS ABRAMS!!!!! We all had such a great time, the weather cooperated and Pat was a tremendous help to us.
All the waitstaff were terrific with some snooty cousins even singing their praises. Amy could not have been more helpful! The food was delicious and plentiful too.
Needless to say, Abbe was the most beautiful bride to ever have graced your establishment but it all just came together so beautifully.
Thanks again for everything and we will always sing praises to Warrington Country Club!
~Marsha Plog
Hi Linda,
I just wanted to send a note of appreciation to you and the other wedding coordinator Linda for giving us a wonderful reception. We felt like we didn’t have to worry about anything and that you guys had us covered, which is what you want on such a hectic but exciting day. We had such an amazing time, the hall looked beautiful and the food was plentiful and delicious. Our guests complimented us on everything, thanks again for all of your help!

Some couples do not see the need to create a wedding registry, and many discover too late that it is something they should have done.
Wedding Registries make things easier for both yourself and your guests. You will be able to avoid returning gifts, finding space to store unwanted gifts and facing the ‘gift giver’ afterwards. And for your guests, they want to buy you something you can use and will love. Help them out by giving them some direction – a registry is the perfect way to do that.
Creating a registry can be a great way for you and your fiancé to imagine your future as you sit down and think about what you will need to create the type of life you want. Spend some time daydreaming together.
